McNallys is located approximately 15miles north of Kernville. It is on the left side of the road as you are driving up the canyon, you can’t miss it! If you reach the Spillway, you’ve gone too far.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Our dress code is dressy casual. We will be in a campground in the mountains. The weather can range from snow and cold temps to sunny and 90 degrees, so try to plan for anything. Comfy shoes is suggested as we will be in mostly dirt. Please no white!
Q: Can I bring a plus one?
A: While we wish we could celebrate our big day with everyone, Plus ones have been limited as we are very tight on space. If only one person is listed on the invite only one person is invited.
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Of course you can! Just keep in mind that this celebration is an adult event! Music and atmosphere will reflect that.
Also keep in mind that we will be right on the river. So it will be essential to keep an eye on your little ones.
Q: Can I bring my canine friends?
A: Unfortunately, we can only allow our dogs at the venue during the ceremony and reception.
Q: When is the rsvp deadline?
A: All RSVPs need to be in by February 1st, 2025 at the very latest!
Q: Who should I contact with questions?
A: please contact Marsha Pharo thru email or text with all questions

Q: Will there be dancing/entertainment?
A: Yes! There will be a DJ playing all the good party music. So bring your dancing shoes! The bride and groom will be ready to celebrate, you should be too!
There will also be a few cornhole boards and a fire pit!
Q: When do I have to RSVP by for the rafting trip?
A: Please RSVP for the rafting trip when you RSVP for everything else! That way we can have a head count for everything all at the same time! Feb 1st is the RSVP deadline for all events!
Q: What will the river look like on April 26th?
A: To be honest, we’re not 100% sure. That all depends on how much snowmelt there is. In April we can expect pretty much anything.
Q: How big will the rapids be?
A: That’s entirely dependent on the snow melt. The bride and groom went in May 2023 and did class 3-5 rapids. So be ready for some big rapids but anticipate anything!
Q: Is this company trustworthy and dependable?
A: The bride and groom have been rafting with this company twice and love them. They have wetsuits, helmets, splash jackets, water booties, and life jackets available to use and in some instances require certain equipment for safety, depending on the size of the rapids. They have multiple safety kayaks, rafts, and catamarans. They may even have multiple staff members in the rafts with you to help with things! They will also do multiple safety briefings at the shop and before getting into the water. If doing a class 5 trip they will require you to do a swim test, in a calm part of the river, where you have to swim up river and back to your raft and be pulled into the raft. Everything is very dependent on the size of the rapids, but Safety is their very first priority no matter how big!
Note: As stated above water levels are dependent on snowmelt. If not enough snow has melted and Sierra South hasn’t started their season yet, we can’t book a trip. So cross your fingers for a warm April!
